In the heart of Lymington with fantastic views over the Solent
The Haven is a magnificent venue situated in the Yacht Haven marina, right in the heart of Lymington. Our privately owned and family run business offers some breath-taking panoramic views overlooking the Solent. After our recent refurbishment in April 2014, Rob (naughty boy) famously known for spraying The Post Box Gold in aid of Sir Ben Ainslie’s triumph in the 2012 Olympics, winning the campaign to keep The Post Box Gold, was delighted to enter into a partnership with one of Britain’s finest broadcasters Chris Evans.
We have built a magnificent reputation for serving an array of delicious fresh fish and shellfish. Our Head Chef James Dorey’s passion for local produce means that when you dine at the Haven, you really are getting a taste of authentic, local cuisine. Combine this with a sophisticated wine menu and the personal service you can only expect from a local family business, and it really is the place to be.
If you’re after a place to relax with friends or family, our outside bar and terrace is the perfect solution. On a summer’s evening it’s a picture, with our beautiful hanging baskets and magnificent sea views.
With live music on Sunday from 5pm, it will be the perfect setting to share some fantastic food, whilst enjoying great company and with the first sign of that chilly autumn weekend we will be starting our famous Sunday Roast.
If it’s a cosy venue you’re seeking then you can relax and unwind in ‘the snug’. Fall back into our comfortable sofas and share some food around our cosy fireplace. Still with tranquil sea views, the snug offers a more informal ambience, situated adjacent to the restaurant.
We also have a marquee bar, where, throughout the year the Haven hosts a number of large events including the Yacht Haven’s Berth Holders Party! The Haven provides a beautiful backdrop for any wedding, corporate function or birthday get together.
All that remains is for you to come and enjoy the Haven experience with us!
See you soon!
The Haven has a fine reputation for fresh and local produce being used regularly on our menus.
James Dorey our head Chef is creating an even greater reputation for this small local restaurant.
